Successful performance of the Geological Institute
in the competition sessions of the National Science Fund in 2024
The institute's journals Geologica Balcanica and Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology, as well as the journal published jointly with the Bulgarian Geological Society, Review of the Bulgarian Geological Society, have been approved for funding. Congratulations to the editorial boards and the entire geological community!
In the competition for fundamental scientific research, scientific field "Earth Sciences", three projects from the Geological Institute have been approved for funding, two of which is in partnership with Sofia University and SRTI-BAS. Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. P. Andreeva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. D. Dimitrova and Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Krastanov.
In the competition for funding fundamental scientific research for young scientists and postdoctoral researchers, two projects by Dr. H. Georgieva and Dr. M. Stavrev, Senior Res. Assistants at the Geological Institute, have been approved for funding.
Our colleague, Assoc. Prof. Dr. I. Kozev, represents the institute in the project of Assoc. Prof. Dr. B. Prodanov from the Institute of Oceanology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in partnership with Sofia University, also approved for funding.
