Scientific Interests: My main scientific activity is focused on studying the qualities of groundwater, hydrochemical analysis of groundwater, research, conservation, and monitoring of groundwater (including mineral waters), geographic information systems (GIS), conducting analyses, and creating and designing thematic maps.
Scientific Interests: Seismic hazard assessments using geological data on faults and past earthquakes, which are provided by techniques of paleoseismology and tectonic geomorphology.
Scientific Interests: Scientific research and expert activity in the field of non-metallic mineral raw materials, metamorphic petrology, mineralogy and use of chemical composition, structural parameters, etc. of indicator minerals for the metamorphic evolution of the rocks.
Scientific Interests: My scientific interests are related to detailed structural and petrostructural studies of igneous and metamorphic terrains in the Alpine and Variscan orogenic belts of the Balkans, as well as in some parts of Antarctic Peninsula. I have considerable experience in data collection and processing from fault zones and ductile shear zones. Microtectonics is of great interest to me, and the experience gained is thanks to long-term observations of many microscopic thin sections.
Scientific Interests: Geochemistry, mineralogy and petrology of wallrock alteration and hydrothermal processes; supergenе alteration; trace elements, high- and low-sulphidation epithermal gold deposits; porphyry copper deposits; intrusion related gold deposits; deposits of non-metallic raw materials; modern and ancient manganese deposits; geochemistry of river sediments.
Scientific Interests: Soil improvement and ground modification – techniques and application; Environmental Geotechnics – soil testing and site investigation; problematic soils; Engineering Geology – hazardous geological processes, site selection and site characterization for hazardous waste disposal (including RAW);
